Agenda
Day 1: Saturday morning will begin with a lecture session of approximately 90 minutes, to set the tone for the weekend.
Then, each owner with a horse will do a Liberty Session in the round pen. An ongoing lecture will interject more information and techniques to help better understand and control each horse. Several of the horses will NOT get to do their liberty session on Saturday due to time. They will do their session on Sunday morning. In scheduling the attendees, be sure to discuss this, as those doing their session on Sunday need not bring their horses Saturday.
Day 2: Sunday morning will finish the Liberty Session work. A second lecture (1 hour) will discuss how to 'transition' the liberty work into contact or lead line work. After lunch all the horses (together) will be doing several lead line exercised in the arena. By the end of the day, each person will have a better connection with his or her horse, with some overlap. In conclusion, there will be a discussion of all the weekend events to help better focus those present with how to use what they have seen.
Day 3: Monday will begin with a brief discussion of all the Saturday-Sunday activities. Next, each horse will have an individual session either under saddle or problem-solving to address any area they wish to work with. These will last 30-45 minutes, with some overlap. In conclusion, there will be a discussion of all the weekend events to help better focus those present with how to use what they have seen.

Club information
Each year, our club elects an executive to make decisions for the
next year's activities and events. This executive meets before the
season begins to finalize any rule changes, determine points system,
set dates for penning and sorting events, set dates for club jackpots,
fun days, banquet/awards night and any other social event planned.
There are only two or three meetings throughout
the season. Any member of the current executive will attest to the
meetings being: worthwhile, on time, businesslike and fair with
valued input from everyone attending. We have had a good year, but,
for a club to stay healthy, new faces at the table are important.
Other offices are important as well, and many
hands make light work, so let us know where your interests are for
volunteering to help our club next season.
Your input needed
It's also important that we know what you liked about this season,
and what changes you would like to see made. Please email us and
let us know your suggestions.
