EOTPA is a group of horse enthusiasts who get together weekly at
Homac Acres, near Codrington Ontario, to enjoy the sport of Team Penning. With
over a decade of experience in running penning events, the club
welcomes new members and provides opportunities for newcomers
to learn the sport while having fun.
At club events, members bring their own horses, Homac Acres supplies
the facilities and the EOTPA runs the show.
The structure and focus of the club has changed this year. Events will be run on a "no points" system - the focus will be fun and practice. Numbered classes and possibly a draw will be run in the afternoon. Cost is as per previous years: $11 per entry for 2 runs.
For information about participating or joining, contact any member
of the executive. In addition, spectators are welcome to visit the
site during regular penning competitions. If visitors check in at
the registration booth, someone will be available to explain the
sport or participation options, or answer questions.
Sponsorships are available to businesses
that wish to support Team Penning events.

Club information
Each year, our club elects an executive to make decisions for the
next year's activities and events. This executive meets before the
season begins to finalize any rule changes, determine event format,
set dates for penning and sorting events, set dates for club jackpots,
fun days, the annual banquet and any other social event planned.
There are only two or three meetings throughout
the season. Any member of the current executive will attest to the
meetings being: worthwhile, on time, businesslike and fair with
valued input from everyone attending. We have had a good year but,
for a club to stay healthy, new faces at the table are important.
Other offices are important as well, and many
hands make light work, so let us know where your interests are for
volunteering to help our club next season.
Your input needed
It's also important that we know what you liked about this season,
and what changes you would like to see made. Please email us and
let us know your suggestions.
